Gardens

Other than Iowa City, there are many things I will miss about living in this area. One is the frequent opportunity we've had to go to Chicago. And while the Windy City is a lot of fun, the Chicago Botanic Garden just outside the city is my favorite part. Last week I went to the botanic garden to say my goodbyes. It was perhaps more beautiful than I've ever seen it. Here are some photos.

Both Pittsburgh and Youngstown have botanical gardens. However, I do not know any more about them than that.

Tarimisu, we've arrived in Ohio and (mostly) unpacked. I wrote this post about a week ago but only got around to finally posting it recently. Hence the language as if we hadn't already left.

We like our new house and our new community so far! It turns out our new apartment is landscaped quite beautifully and reminds me of a nice garden too. :)

I love your photos, Coach. It is obvious why you would be reticent to leave. Hope your move went smoothly. And the unpacking. (you haven't unpacked any rats, have you? You better be wary, cause Sam's cracker packing might have attracted some.)

So glad to hear ya'll landed safely and softly! And also that you have some nice landscaping around to remind ya'll of one of your favorite places.

I can't believe ya'll left without saying good bye.
I've been calling all week trying to get the boys together.
Now I know why I haven't gotten a call back. I mean besides the normal "We forget to check our voicemail" reason.
