Sensible apparel

Knowing what I do about skin cancers and their increasing incidence as people deliberately tan themselves and seek that cosmetic bronze look, we try to keep Sam well protected. It's a good idea for anyone to use sunscreen, a hat, and long sleeves to minimize your risk. Hence, we've encouraged Sam to wear a hat to the park on various occasions. He has a little sailor's hat that he likes sometimes and refuses other times.

Yesterday on our daily walk, he wanted to wear a hat. Here he is enjoying the sweet UV protection as he basks in the sun.

Who has the pommiest pom of all? Nice try, little girl. Sammy wins.

Has anyone seen my moonboots?

Does my head look big to you? Funny shaped? Like a squash maybe? That's so insulting.

It looks like he belongs in a Dr. Suess book. Very Cute.

I was thinking it looks like he belongs in a veggietales video. You are cute, kid, but your mother dresses you funny!

So that's the green hat he found while we were talking yesterday, Boss! Nice.

I agree with Ree...he came straight out of a VeggieTales video!
I love when kids dress themselves...or are particularly stubborn about a favorite article of clothing! Until I finally hid them last week, Jacob was still tromping around in his Mickey Mouse Snow Boots.
Good job on such a cute kid Boss and coach!

I've just gotta say, variegated yarn isn't used nearly enough in commercial clothing. You can't buy good fashionable stuff like that--you have to make it. Or at least, have a relative make it. Thanks Zsa Zsa Zootenhorst.

Sam looks as white as me! One benefit -- we're easy to find in the dark. :)

That's the cutest - and brightest-colored - squash I've ever seen!

I can't wait to see him in his new video "Sammy the Squash & Bob the Tomato help save the Earth". Cute kid, but I hope he does not use the picture on his political campaign signs in the future "Sam Hopkins...Because we need someone who is serious about the issues."

Has someone complained about the clothing maker on Mylist.blogspot.com? What did that cost?
